Frankie Deleon Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Affordable Burial & Cremation Service - Austin Area on Jan. 8, 2026.
Frankie Ray DeLeon, 52, of Austin, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026, in his home, surrounded by his loved ones.

Frankie was born on April 9, 1973, in McKinney, Texas, to the late Amadeo DeLeon, Sr. and América Hinojosa. He was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend. Those who knew Frankie knew a man whose life reflected kindness, generosity, and a servant's heart.

For most of his life, Frankie worked as an appliance installer and delivery driver. He was known as a hardworking and dependable coworker who approached every task with a smile. His joy for life was evident in the simple things he loved most-fishing, hunting, barbecuing, and spending time with family and friends.

Frankie was a man who never hesitated to lend a helping hand, not only to those he loved but often to strangers in need. His faith guided his actions, and his life was a reflection of Christ's love through service, compassion, and humility. Though his earthly journey has ended, we trust in the promise of eternal life and the hope of reunion in the presence of the Lord.

Frankie Ray DeLeon is survived by his loving mother, América Hinojosa, beloved step mother, Virginia De Los Santos, his devoted wife, Josefina "Liliana" DeLeon; and his five beloved children: Frankie Ray DeLeon Jr., Corina DeLeon, Jessica DeLeon, Kevin Rivera, and Isaac DeLeon.

He is also survived by his brothers, Amadeo DeLeon Jr., Dimas DeLeon, and Mario DeLeon; and his sisters, Yvonne Yvette Peña, Patricia "Patsy" Lopez, Lucy Saldivar, and Krystle Alvarez, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Amadeo DeLeon Sr.; his paternal grandparents, Francisco and Patricia DeLeon; and his maternal grandparents, Jesús and Josefa Chavera.

Frankie will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, faith, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. "Well done, good and faithful servant." (Matthew 25:23)
