Franklin "Frankie" Rufus Bevins, age 42, of Richlands, VA, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024 in Pendleton, Oregon.
Frankie was born on December 24, 1981 in Grundy, VA, and was the son of Dreama Bevins of Grundy, VA and the late Luther Darrell Cook. He was a resident of the area for 14 years and was a truck driver. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife of 17 years, Ginger Elaine Bevins; sister, Tina Lynn Harrison, and a brother, Scotty Ray Hagy. Frankie will be missed by all his loving family and friends.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by:
Stepchildren: Megan Denise Baker, Brandon Lee Baker, and Roy Dalton Baker
Grandchildren: Remington Chaphe and Lilliana Chaphe
Also surviving are several family and friends.
Funeral services for Franklin "Frankie" Rufus Bevins will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, VA with Rev. David Osborne officiating. Interment will follow at Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery in Richlands, VA. Pallbearers will be Mark Chaphe, Roy Dalton Baker, Brandon Lee Baker, Daniel Osborne, Jake Osborne, Landon Osborne, Cody Osborne, Danta Curry, and Anton Curry. The Bevins family will receive friends from 6-9 pm on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
