Franklin D. Teague, 89, of Hutchinson, KS passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025 at Hillside Village of De Soto. Frank was born in Grubbs, AR, on December 3, 1935, to James Henry and Lucy Ethel (Darby) Teague.
Frank served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1964, where he developed his lifelong skill and passion for auto mechanics. Frank worked as a machinist for Hartman Manufacturing Company, Consolidated Manufacturing, and Haven Steel. When he wasn't at work, he was fixing, building, or refurbishing anything and everything that he could get his hands on.
Frank enjoyed music, spending time with his family, and lending a helping hand to anyone who needed work done. Known for his Yogi Bear impression, Frank will be remembered by family for his never ending efforts to make us smile.
Frank is survived by: children, Michelle Mize (Derek Mize) and Priscilla Teague (Charles Brown), all of Eudora, KS, grandchildren; Anna Taylor (Mark Taylor) of Hutchinson and Corbin Brown (Carolyn Brown), Max Mize, Claire "Cori" Brown, all of Eudora, KS; and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Henry Casper Teague, James Walter Teague, Burns Melvin Teague, Ida Mary Teague Harrison, and Cora Mae Teague Handy.
Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 11:30am at Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home in Hutchinson, KS.
Flowers may be sent to Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home of Hutchinson or donations may be made to Veterans Association, care of Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
