Fred D. Carpenter, 72, of Schenectady NY passed away peacefully following a long illness on November 22, 2022, at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville NY.
Born April 2, 1950 in Amsterdam NY, Fred was a 1968 graduate of Scotia Glenville High School. Fred was a loyal employee of Mullen Moving and Storage for over 40 years, becoming like family.
Fred was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Anne Carpenter of Wilton NY and a niece Danielle Papa of Schaghticoke. He is survived by his siblings Jesse Carpenter of Phoenix AZ, Diane (Andy) Papa of Fonda NY, Terri (Scott)Dyer of Wilton NY, Children Jennifer (Rich) Paszkiewicz of Scotia, Jonathan (Annie Laier) of Sharon Springs, niece Desiree (Jeremy)Krizan of Tribes Hill and grandchildren Mallory, RJ and Jessica Paszkiewicz of Scotia, Olivia & Harrison Carpenter of Sharon Springs.
Private graveside services will take place at Evergreen Cemetery Fonda NY.

Worked with Fred for 18 yrs. We had our differences , but mostly got along good. I'll miss him. Him and Phil Parks were two I enjoyed knowing and working with.
