Fred Hall

Robinson, Kansas...On August 22, 2025, Frederick Lee Hall passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus after a short battle with cancer.

He was born on July 11, 1941, in Horton, Kansas, to Norman Lee Hall and Martha Elise (Boss) Hall of Powhattan, Kansas. Martha passed
away on May 28, 1943, and "Freddie" lived with his grandparents John and Sylvie in their Powhattan home until Norman
remarried Dorothy Lucille (Riley) Hall on May 25, 1947. Fred graduated from Powhattan High School in May 1959 and
continued to work with his dad on the family farm. On September 1, 1963, he married Judy Lee Daniels. They made their home
on John and Sylvie's homestead. To this union three children were born: Janelle Lee, Lance Wayne, and LaNay Gail.
Fred farmed and operated a dairy farm, tending the land with his father and brothers. In May 1979, Fred moved his family to
Byers, Colorado, to help his Uncle Albert Boss on an eastern Colorado wheat farm. He also operated a small farrow-to-finish
hog operation and raised Holstein bucket calves. Farming was not just a livelihood for Fred-it was part of his identity and
something he shared with his family.

After years of farming, Fred began driving the local fuel delivery truck for Tri Valley Gas Company in Byers. Just as he had been
on the farm, he was dependable and steady, making his rounds to ensure friends and neighbors had what they needed. Some
of his favorite times came during wheat harvest in Colorado, when he delivered fuel to all the custom harvesters. He loved
being part of that busy season, keeping the combines rolling and sharing in the spirit of harvest. The mountains of Colorado
were always the first choice for family vacations for Fred and Judy. After their move, fishing trips and ski adventures became
more frequent. Once grandchildren came into the picture, many hours were spent together on bleacher seats cheering them
on. Their 43 years of marriage spanned two states and were filled with countless memories, shared adventures and a great
deal of love.

After the passing of his beloved wife Judy on October 15, 2006, Fred returned home to northeast Kansas. After some
matchmaking by his good friend Rosie Hinkle, he met Charlott Blanton, and on April 10, 2010, she became his loving wife and
companion. Fred shared his values of life, hard work, and family with Charlott's children-Angela, Robin, Mandy, and Peter-
welcoming them and their families into his heart as his own. Fred and Charlott found that they loved traveling in their
motorhome. Between trips to Branson, local camp outings with their small RV group and visits to see family, they found great
enjoyment in their time together on the road.

Fred loved spending time again with his brothers, Bob Hall and Jim Hall, and the rest of the family and friends he had left
behind in 1979. Every Thursday was "brother's day," and many deer hunting seasons were spent by the three brothers in a
deer blind, where jerky snacks and napping happened on a regular basis. Sister Judy would supply a gooseberry pie at the
slightest request. The fields he worked, the roads he traveled, and the friendships he built will long stand as reminders of the
kind of man Fred was.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Judy, and his son Lance.

He is survived by Charlott at their home in Robinson, KS; daughters Janelle (David) Turecek of Deer Trail, CO, and LaNay
(David) Arcady of Grand Junction, CO; and nine grandchildren: Matthew (Yolanda) Turecek and Renae (Lucas) Koch, all of
Valley Falls, KS; Preston (MaKaila) Turecek of Hamilton, KS; Austin (Lauren) Arcady of Commerce City, CO; and Brooke
(Tristan) Brown of Grand Junction, CO. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren. Stepchildren Angela (Allen) Cooper of
Wichita, KS; Robin (Craig) Gilbert of Robinson, KS; Mandy (Bryan) Rockey, of Hiawatha, KS; and Peter (Chris) Blanton of
Greensburg, KS; eleven step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild. Two brothers, Robert (Paula) Hall of Effingham,
KS, and James (Carla) Hall of Powhattan, KS, along with his sister Judy Hall of Hiawatha, KS. Brother-in-law Terry (Cheryl)
Daniels, sister-in-law Donna (Gerald) Krebs all of Hiawatha, KS, also survive him.

Fred loved quietly and had a peaceful acceptance of every curveball life threw at him. His great faith in our Lord and Savior
was seen in every aspect of his life and his family has no doubt that wife Judy and son Lance met him at the Eastern Gate of
Heaven. May we find peace in knowing that Fred's work is done, his burdens are lifted, and his spirit rests in eternal peace

A celebration of Fred's Eternal Life is planned for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, at Zion Methodist Church, northeast of Robinson, with Pastor Rick Forthman officiating. Graveside services are planned for 10:30 Saturday, August 30, at Byers Cemetery, Byers, Colorado.

Friends may call at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hiawatha after 12 noon Monday where the family will meet with friends that evening from 6 until 8 p.m.
