Terry was born on April 4, 1947 to Lois (Stewart) and William Lee in Atlanta, GA. After graduating from Forest Park High School in 1965, he served in the U.S. Army as a helicopter mechanic both stateside and in Germany.

Terry had a terrific sense of humor and a great smile. He loved the Lord and was a member of Forest Park First Baptist Church in Forest Park, GA.
Terry was predeceased by his wife Dagmar Busse Lee, his daughter Dianna Lee Mumpower, his brother Ferrell Lee, and his sister Linda Bailey. He is survived by his daughter, Dejuan Lee of Cumming, his son Mike (Diana) Lee of Bischofsheim, Germany, and his sister Beverly Dudley of McDonough.
