Freda (Speck) Weaver, 95 ½ , of Huntingdon, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Penn Highlands Huntingdon. Born January 13, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Dallas Leroy Speck and Minnie C. (Ronk) Speck. She was united in marriage to Ralph K. Weaver, who preceded her in death on June 7, 2015.

Mrs. Weaver is survived by her daughter, Donna L. Beam of Alexandria; three grandchildren, Scott Hearn of Alexandria, Julie States and husband, Kirk, of McConnellstown, and Matt Hearn and wife, Denise, of Alexandria; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Katherine Speck of Huntingdon; and a nephew and two nieces, Michael Speck, Valerie Rennell and Sandra Beecher.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by three siblings, Gerald Speck, Helen Speck and Donald Speck.

Mrs. Weaver was an active life-member of the McConnellstown First Church of the Nazarene, where she was pianist and organist for many years. She was also active in and president of the church's Missionary Society for many years.

She was a graduate of Huntingdon High School class of 1947.

Mrs. Weaver was employed as a legal and judicial secretary in Huntingdon for over 60 years.

She was an avid reader who loved reading her Bible and daily devotionals; and later in life enjoyed listening to audiobooks. She was also a talented seamstress in her earlier years.

At her request there will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the McConnellstown First Church of the Nazarene, 5851 Newtown Ave., Huntingdon, PA, with Pastor Joshua Massey officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in remembrance of Freda S. Weaver may be made to the McConnellstown First Church of the Nazarene, 5851 Newtown Ave., Huntingdon, PA 16652.
