Freddie Cope, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on March 15, 2025, at the age of 83, in Rockcastle County, Kentucky-where his story began on September 15, 1941. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Freddie's memory is held dear in the hearts of his family; his wife of 59 years, Doxie Cope, his devoted daughter Melissa and her husband Steven Pheanis, his son Richard Smith, along with his treasured grandson, Zachary Pheanis. Freddie preceded in death by his parents, George and Audrey Thomas Cope.
A celebration of life for Freddie will be 1 pm, Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Three Links Christian Church with Pastors Jack Martin and Grant Martin. There will be a private burial at Scaffold Cane Cemetery.
