Frederick Lynn Brett, 77, of Oregon, Ohio, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 27, 2025. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 13, 1948 to Robert and Mary Brett.
Fred loved and lived for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and shared the good news of the gospel as a testimony of all that Jesus had done in his life. He had a love for people and a heart to lend a helping hand and serve others. Fred married Debi, the love of his life on May 23, 1981. He retired from Jeep in 2008 after working there for 31 years. He was introduced to the game of golf by his father-in-law, which he grew to love and went on to teach and coach others. He was a hard worker not because he loved the work but because he loved the result.
Fred is survived by his loving wife Debi of 44 years, his daughters Rachel and Natalie (Braxton), his granddaughter Tenley, his brother Robert, and countless family and friends.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 4:00 pm - 8:00pm, followed by a funeral on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 10:00am at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Road, Oregon, Ohio 43616. Following services, Fred will be laid to rest at Lake Township Cemetery.
