Frederick J. Mealy, 77 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on September 8, 2023. Fred was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He retired from The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company after 34 years of service. Fred was happiest when riding motorcycles, spending time in his yard and with his pets.
Preceded in death by his father and mother Ernest and Alberta Mealy; brother Vince Mealy and niece Alanna Marie Mealy. He is survived by wife of 35 years Cynthia Eitner; sons Jeffrey (Jill) Mealy and Stephen (Colleen) Mealy; grandsons Freddie and Henry Mealy; sister-in-law Janet Mealy; brother Dave Mealy; nieces Rachel (Ben) Easton and Maria Mealy; nephew Jared Mealy; dogs Walter and Howard; cats Dewey and Claire; and numerous relatives and many devoted friends.
Per Fred’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral.
