Mr. Frederick Welton Perry Jr. age 61of Saint Albans, WV went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, March 31, 2025.
Mr. Frederick W. Perry Jr. was born in Clarksburg, WV on September 4, 1963. To the Late Rev. Dr. Frederick Welton Perry Sr. and Mrs. Genesta Harris Perry. Frederick Jr. was the oldest of five children. He is survived by the love of his life of 30 years, Rosalie Jewel Hughart Perry of Saint Albans, WV. Five children: Crystal Dawn Perry, Frederick W. Perry III (wife) Angel, and Jeremy Perry all of Clarksburg, WV. Jessica Perry (Edwin Carter) of Charleston, WV and Frederick W. Perry III (Freddy) of Saint Albans, WV.
In addition, he is survived by seventeen grandchildren and two great grandchildren, four sisters: Mary A. Perry Walton (Paul) of Greensboro, NC, Genesta A. Perry, Angela Perry and Estella M. Perry all of High Point, NC. Fred had a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
At an early age Fred accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior; he was truly a man after God's own heart. In everything Fred put God first. He loved reading his bible every day, looking at religious programs to strengthen his personal walk with the Lord. Fred's favorite bible verse was the 23rd Psalm and he loved the song Rough Side of The Mountain by F. C. Barnes. He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers Fan.
Fred was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for his family. Seeing them come together to spend time with each other. He loved his grandchildren so deeply and enjoyed spoiling and spending time with them. Fred also enjoyed giving gifts to his family and took his time in thinking of the perfect gift to show them how special they were.
Fred was an outstanding husband and treated his wife Rose like a queen, he loved all his children with all his heart, and they all were the apple of his eye. He enjoyed deep talks with his sisters over the phone. Fred will be truly missed and there will never be another like him. God gave us all a gift and named him Frederick Welton Perry Jr.
A memorial service will be held at a later time to celebrate his life.
A special thank you to all the staff at CAMC Memorial Hospital and The Hughart Family for all their love and support during this time.
