He was born December 26, 1945 in Willimantic, CT to Gustav Frederick and Ella Vivian (Willard) Reuthe.
Butch grew up in Windham, CT and attended Willimantic Trade School. He served in the US Air Force and later worked as an Auto Mechanic until her retired to Florida 21 years ago.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Irene Vargas. He is survived by his wife Phoebe, son William, daughter-in- law Pamela as well as many other in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

Auntie Phoebe and Billy and Pam. Sending our heartfelt sympathies during this difficult time. Know that Butch is at peace and hold fast to your memories . He was gentleman, and kind and generous Uncle. Always willing to help others in need. We had many good times dancing at the fairs and enjoyed the Oldies and country music. He will always have a piece of my heart as well as many unfortable memories. Always in Our hearts
