Janet Isabelle Raven

Janet Isabelle Raven, 87, of Port Orange, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, at Halifax Health Hospice in Port Orange.
Born on May 31, 1938, in Eastport, New York, Janet pursued a lifelong passion for caring for others, earning her Registered Nurse license in New York before moving to Florida. There, she continued a life filled with compassion, warmth, and adventure.
Janet loved to travel, play Bingo, and was an avid basketball fan who enjoyed attending games whenever she could. Her radiant smile, caring heart, and remarkable ability to touch the lives of everyone she met will always be remembered.
She is survived by her two loving sons, George and Michael, who will forever cherish her strength and loving spirit. During her illness, she was faithfully accompanied by her beloved dog, Kohl-their bond brought great comfort and joy to them both.
A spiritual service celebrating Janet's life will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with Chaplain Jeffrey Kresh officiating at Halifax Health Hospice, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, Florida 32129.
Immediately following the service, friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life block party hosted by the family at 850 Christy Drive, Port Orange, Florida. All who knew Janet are welcome to attend and share happy thoughts and memories of a beautiful soul who has gone home to our Lord and Savior.
