Frederick Schatzle Obituary
Frederick J. Schatzle, 89, of Allentown, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025, in Phoebe Home, Allentown. Born in Morristown, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Frederick X. and Elizabeth (Hoffman) Schatzle. Fred received his bachelor's degree from Muhlenberg College and his master's degree from Lehigh University. He was a fifth-grade teacher in the Saucon Valley School District for 17 years. After retiring from teaching, he was a professional photographer. Fred was a member of the Photography Club in Allentown. He loved to travel and visited many National Parks. Mr. Schatzle was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Allentown.
Survivors: Friends: Sandra K. Wolf of Macungie, Jeffrey Stanley of Allentown, Robert Salley of Allentown.
Services will be held at a future date.

I was a student of Mr. Schatzle's in Whitehall-Coplay School District. He was a nice man. The building i went to school in turned into Coplay Municipal Building and the room i was taught in by Mr Schatzle turned into Coplay Police Department where i was chief of police for 30 years. May he rest in peace ,fond memories.
