Frederick J Schroeder

Frederick Joseph Schroeder, 85, of Dornsife, died March 26, 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by family.

He was born on Jan. 1, 1940, in Philadelphia. The son of the late Frederick and Mildren (Bixler) Schroeder. Frederick was married to late June (Doyle) Schroeder for 49 years.

He retired from H.R. Ewell Trucking, East Earl, Pa.

Frederick was a member of David's UCC in Hebe.

He is survived by his six children John (Michele) Schroeder, of Dornsife, Frederick (Joyce) Schroeder of Narvon, Pa., Denise (Mike) Lindenlauf, of Coatsville, Pa., Marg (Dave) Fultz, Florida, Linda Becker of Liberal, Okla. , and Michelle (Kevin) Fast-Lock of Anchorage, Alaska; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren whom he loved very much.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a grandson, Jacob Allen Schroeder.

Friends and family may call on Friday, April 3, 2026, at David's United Church of Christ in Hebe. (1907 Klingerstown Road, Herndon, PA, 17830) Viewing is at 11 a.m. to noon. Funeral service will start at noon. The family welcomes guests to join them for the wake afterward.
