Fredric Paley

     Mr. Fredric Paley, age 85, of Gibsonville, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell after several months of failing health.

      Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Jack and Ethel Sherwin Paley and was married for over 66 years to his high school sweetheart, Mrs. Dolores-Lee Orlick Paley, affectionally known as “Team Paley”. He retired as a longtime salesperson with several different financial institutions located on Wall Street and was a member of a 50’s do-wop band known as the “Rock-a-Fellas”. Fredric enjoyed spending time with his family, taking cruises, dancing and gardening. He was an avid baseball fan, especially his hometown Mets and Yankees. 

      Mr. Paley is survived by his wife of the home; three children, Tom (Alessandra) Paley, Jane (Al) Annunziata and VaLorie (Willy) Kinsella; six grandchildren, Jaclyn, Jessica, Ryan, Remi, Justin and Brianna; six great grandchildren, Owen, Caroline, Jack, Ansley, Luca and Freya; and a sister, Alice Sheinfeld. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Dorothy Heimowitz.

      A private family service will be held Friday, December 20, 2024.
