G. Victor Brinton

George Victor "Vick" Brinton, 85, formerly of Peach Bottom, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at the Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Housekeeper) Brinton, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage.

Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late George K. and Gladys V. (Albright) Brinton. Upon graduating from the University of Maryland with a BS in Agriculture, he returned home and partnered with his father in the family farming business, eventually partnering with his son until his retirement. He was a Seed Salesman for Hoffman Seed. In retirement, Vick also worked as a rural mail carrier for 16 years.

He was a member of Wesley Church in Quarryville, Gideons International, Solanco Young Farmers, and served on the Solanco School Board from 1972 to 1978. He enjoyed sharing his Faith, visiting shut-ins and volunteering with Release Time and Bible Adventure for many years.

Vick is survived, in addition to his wife, by his children: Scott K. Brinton, Elizabeth Brinton Gerthoffer (Karl), and Timothy Brinton; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren, and 4 sisters. He was predeceased by his two infant sons, John and Kenneth, and a daughter-in-law, Kathy (Absher) Brinton.

A Memorial Service will be held at Wesley Church, 1104 Kirkwood Pike, Quarryville, PA on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 3:00 PM.

Please join the family for a light meal and time of fellowship following the service. Interment will be private.
