Gabriel Solis Obituary
Gabriel Lee Solis went home to the Lord on April 28, 2023 in Lubbock. The son of Frank Solis, Jr. and Delia Solis, he was born in Levelland and the oldest of three siblings. Gabe was a graduate of Sundown High School and South Plains College. He spent the majority of his career doing what he loved as Plant Manager in the West Texas Oil Patch.
He will be remembered for his charming and cheesy grin, his big open heart and being a stranger to no one. Gabriel was a son, brother and a true friend. His greatest pride and joy were his three children. You could often find him on the basketball court, ever the doting dad.
Gabriel is survived by his parents, Theodore Frank, Jr. and Delia Solis of Levelland; children, Keaton Shorey of Plano, Lexi and Trevor Solis of Levelland; granddaughter, Dalyce Shorey; siblings, Gilbert Solis and Cindy Solis-Gutierrez (Ronny); and an extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Theodore Frank, Sr. and Julia Solis, and Freddy and Anita Morales.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 8:00 to 5:00 pm at Krestridge Funeral Home with a rosary scheduled for 6:30 pm. On Thursday, May 4, 2023, visitation will be held from 10:00 am until service time at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 2:00 pm at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the City of Levelland Cemetery.
