I'm so saddened this loss. I remember when Gabe was in 7th grade, and I thought this kid has so much heart and spirit. I hope the blessing of his memory is comfort to all of you who loved him.

He loved being a father. He was so excited for the future. He was a good friend and a good person. My sympathies to his family and to all. I hope that one day I get to be one of the many to tell his son how much he loved him.

Although our in-person exposure to Gabe was not as often as we would have liked due to distance and Covid, we always experienced his sincere, warm, friendly and always interested attitude towards other people´s feelings and thoughts. In the past few years we´ve had numerous contacts with him through Facebook and he always acknowledged our posts with positive and friendly feed back. It was really nice being able to share those moments with him. In essence, he was charming to be with, a nice guy with a soft heart and gentle soul. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Our hearts and thoughts are with everyone at this extremely sad and tragic time.

We haven't spoken in years yet learning about Gabe's death has had a profound impact on my life. Gabe was such a unique and loving soul that didn't make anyone feel less than for being different. Gabe's ability to love and accept people for who they were meant even more to those of us that are misfits. So many people will miss him deeply. I'm so sorry for his loss and my deepest sympathies for his family and all of those who love him. <3

With the deepest sympathies to Debra and family and hope that the love, support and fond recollections from others will provide some consolation during this time of tremendous grief.
It was many years ago but remember so clearly the day we met Gabe. We had just moved to the neighborhood and Gabe rides up, with no reservations, knocks on the door and with his big, heartfelt smile, asks if we had any kids. He came in and it was like we had known him for years... and he became friends with our kids/family that day. He was always a joy to see as his heartfelt presence could just light up a room.

Gabriel was a sweet soul. He was beautiful inside and out, a great friend. Anyone who knew him was blessed with the presence of an angel. His light shined brighter than most people, and he had a beautiful smile to match. My sincerest condolences go out to his family and those who loved him.
