Gail A. Cunningham, 76, of Carneys Point passed away on September 10, 2024. Born in Salem, Gail was the daughter of Russell L. & Hazel Chandler Bacon. She graduated from Salem High School and eventually retired from PSE&G after many years of service. She was an avid animal lover, loved spending time outdoors and had a passion for expressing herself through her writing and painting.
She is survived by her son Wayne, her sister, Carol Bacon as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Gail was predeceased by two brothers, Jeremiah and Russell L. Bacon Jr.
Services for Gail will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad St., Woodstown, NJ 08098. The viewing will begin at 10 AM with the service to follow at 11 AM. Burial is private and at the convenience of the family. With Gail being such an animal lover, Wayne has suggested that donations be sent to the Salem County Humane Society PO Box 214 Carneys Point NJ 08069 on her behalf. adamsfuneralhome.org

My first memory of Gail when she was a security guard. When she came into the warehouse as stock handler I was so impressed by her work ethic. She was always open and honest. I liked talking with her.
