Gail Susan Sowinski, 75, of Harrison Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 28, 2025.
She was born April 7, 1950 in Mt. Clemens to the late Robert and Vivian (nee Goniwiecha) Sowinski. Gail graduated from St. Louis High School in 1968. She remained with the St. Louis Parish throughout her life. Gail loved traveling locally as well as other countries. She enjoyed spending time with friends and joining them for scrapbooking events. Gail was a season ticket holder at the Macomb Center for Performing Arts. She loved spending time with family, especially for every holiday. She had an amazing heart and enjoyed giving gifts to family and friends.
Gail is survived by her sister, Linda (Steve Mellos) Reist; niece, Erin Ryan; great-niece, Madison Ryan and great- nephew, Gavin Ryan. She is also survived by a family dog Bailey, whom she loved dearly, especially loved dog sitting.
The family honors the memory of Gail and invites you to visit and share memories Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, Clinton Township. Father Christopher Muer will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to St. Louis Parish.
