Gail Zwinge, age 72, of Brandon, passed away on June 30, 2025, in Dell Rapids, South Dakota. Born on October 28, 1952, in Troy, New York, Gail was the oldest of six children born to Ralph and Evelyn Bonesteel. She grew up in Brunswick, New York, and graduated from Tamarac Senior High School in 1970. After dedicating many years to raising her family as a homemaker, she later worked as a human resources officer at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, where she eventually retired. Gail had a fun-loving nature, a deep love for her family, and a genuine appreciation for life's simple pleasures. She especially treasured spending time with her husband, Felix. She loved Hallmark movies, found joy in good conversation, and often laughed until she cried. Gail is survived by her children and their spouses: Christian and Kim Zwinge of Summerville, SC; Leara and Daniel Martin of Ridgeville, SC; Heather Zwinge and Jared Osmus of Brandon, SD; Shane and Sara Zwinge of Moncks Corner, SC; and Brittany and Simón Castañeda of Summerville, SC; along with 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson. She is also survived by her five siblings. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Zwinge, and her parents. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
