I was sad to hear of Ms. Salib's passing. I worked together with her at Pine Ridge HS in the World languages department from 2004-2012. Ms. Salib was a wonderful teacher (I attended her Arabic course at Daytona State) and highly cultured individual with a knowledge and appreciation of people from diverse backgrounds. She was immensely kind, gracious and well-spoken. I was blessed to have known her and I'm sure others will feel the same. Pat(rick) Kegel

I will always remember her kindness and professionalism. She loved being an educator. More than anything, she loved her family. May she rest in peace and may her family accept my sincere condolences. Soraya Ray

My sincere condolences to Galiila's family for their big loss.
Galila was a respected French teacher who could lead her students from beginner to higher level without a problem. She excelled also in other languages which she sometimes taught without a problem. She was a true professional whose knowledge and approach to languages was vast but who knew how to adapt to the younger generations. She will be missed.
