Garnet Midcap Obituary
She was born April 21, 1937 in Moundsville, WV the daughter of the late Lee and Della Minor Chambers.
She was a retired custodian from McElroy-Consol Mine; a member of Moundsville Baptist Church; previously won "Queen" while a member of TOPS; and loved gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Midcap, Sr.; four brothers, Wilford, Carl, Berlin and Lee "Bud" Chambers; two sisters, Gladys Harrigan and Mary Holmes; and a grandson, Jimmy Jennings, III.
Survivors include four daughters, Wanda (Jim) Jennings of Proctor, Beatrice DeStafano of NJ, Charlotte (Jeff) Jenkins of Morgantown, WV, and Kathy (Rocky) Wills of New Martinsville, WV; a son, Harry, Jr. (Connie) Midcap of Proctor; ten grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11am until time of Funeral Service at 1pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville with Rev. Harry Midcap officiating.
Interment in Fredonia Cemetery, Proctor.
