In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Green.
Garry proudly served in the United States Navy and carried that pride with him throughout his life. He loved to fish, play golf, and grill for family and friends. He was a big Duke fan and enjoyed watching sports and movies of all kinds. Garry will be remembered for his easygoing nature, his love of life, and the joy he brought to those around him.
He is survived by his mother, Julia Green, and his daughter, Mikayla Green.
A celebration of life will be held on June 5, 2025, at Smoky Mountain Cremations & Funeral Service from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
