Gary Richard Demont, aged 76, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on December 9, 1948, in Fitchburg, Gary was a beacon of kindness and friendliness to all who knew him. Marcia I. Demont, 73, of Leominster, died March 11, at Leominster Hospital. Marcia was born May 4, 1951, daughter of the late Edward F. and Irene M. (Nye) Noga.

Gary's life was marked by his unwavering devotion to his family. He was a loving husband to his late wife, Marcia I. (Noga) Demont, whose memory he cherished until his last day. Gary was a loving father to his son, Scott Demont. His sister, Donna Smith of Alabama, will remember Gary as a steadfast presence in her life.

Their legacy's continue through their beloved grandchildren, Felicia and Alyssa Demont, and Heather Navarro, as well as through their five great-grandchildren. Their family will forever treasure the memories of their love, support, and the countless moments of joy they brought into their lives.

Gary's commitment to service was exemplified by his time in the Navy, where he served his country with honor and dignity. His experiences in the Navy stayed with him throughout his life and shaped the man he became. The discipline, respect, and camaraderie he found in the military were qualities he carried into his civilian life and shared with those around him. Marcia was a dedicated registered nurse working at Burbank Hospital for 42 years. She truly loved being a nurse which was evident in the care she showed to her patients.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 29 at Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon, MA at 10:00 A.M., for both Gary and his wife Marcia.
