Gary Douglas Allen, 58 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Gary was born Tuesday, February 14, 1967 in Cookeville, Tennessee, and he was the son of the late Homer Douglas Allen and the late Joyce Faye (Frazier) Allen.
Gary was a loving son, husband, father, Papa, uncle, and friend. He worked for the City of Cookeville Water Department for 30 years as a Water Distribution Foreman. He loved to fish, and hunt, and his family was his everything especially his grandboys.
Gary is survived by, Wife of 39 years, Charlotte Allen; his son, Brad Allen; his daughter, Ashley Madden and her husband, Tyler; 2 Grandchildren, Jake and Hunter Madden; Mother-in-law, Betty Elrod; Aunt, Sue Frazier; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by, Special Cousin, Rhonda Frazier; Maternal Grandparents, Sears and Mildred Frazier; Paternal Grandparents, Steve and Mable Allen; Uncle, Charles Frazier; Father-in-law, Johnny Elrod; Special Pet, Murphy.
Funeral Service for Gary Allen will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Benningfield officiating. Interment will follow in the Smyrna Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of service at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
