Gary G. Beasom, 73, of Latrobe, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024 at his home.
Born October 27, 1950 in Altoona, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Jennie (Patton) Beasom.
Prior to his retirement, Gary was a computer programmer and analyst and was employed for Sawhill Tubular, Xerox Corporation, and Latrobe Hospital. He also had his own consulting firm for programming and analysis, GB Consulting. Although he was very hard working and dedicated to his field, he still found time to enjoy fishing and bowling. Family meant everything to Gary and he loved being with them, especially attending his grandson's sporting events and spending time with his best friend, his son Ken.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeffrey and Michael Beasom; and his father-in-law, John J. Sommer.
Gary is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joyce M. (Sommer) Beasom of Latrobe; three children, Kenneth J. Beasom of Latrobe, Jason P. Beasom, and his wife Lesley, of Monroeville, and Jamie M. Kisner, and her fiancé Jamie Prince, of Morgantown, WV; his grandson, Garrison Kisner; one brother, James Beasom, and his wife Judy; three sisters, Sandra Powley, Laura Sutton, and Rebecca Reichard, and her husband Tim; his mother-in-law, Alverta Sommer; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no public visitations. Service and interment are private. Arrangements are being handled by the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home, LLC, 601 Weldon Street, Latrobe. To sign the online guest book, send condolences, or share a story, please visit www.lopatichbrinker.com.

I remember having a fun time swimming at your house in Holiday Park. My Dad loved the ring toss game on your porch so much that he fashioned one on our own porch and we got lots of enjoyment from it. I wish Uncle Gary peace in heaven and I wish the family lots of love and healing during this hard transition time. Love from Japan, Aly xoxoxoxoxoxo
