Gary was a Veteran and volunteered calling Bingo at the Veterans Hospital until he could not. He was recognized as an outstanding volunteer in 2024. He was in the Utah National Guard and was activated for the Berlin air lift. While traveling to training in Texas he and mom decided to marry.
Dad was also an electrician at Camp Bird mine in Ouray and later at Joy manufacturing. He created a number of unique control systems.
But his first professional job was as a Magician in a Magic Shop in Salt Lake City. He and our mom used to travel around performing at different venues. The older children even helped with some shows.
After mom and dad are interred we will share stories of their lives.
