Gary Codding Obituary
Gary went to school at both the University of New Haven and Holy Apostles Seminary in Cromwell. He was a friend to everyone and always lent a helping hand to anyone in need. He spent 30 years in New York City working in the computer industry before moving back to Plainfield,10 years ago, to help take care of his mother Bernice.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his siblings John Douglas Codding, Ann Marie Codding, James Allen Codding: niece Theresa Maheu; nephews James A. and Stephen M. Codding.
Gary is predeceased by his two brothers David and Stephen Codding.
There will be a visitation from 8:30-9:30AM at Dougherty Brothers Funeral Home in Plainfield and a Memorial Mass immediately following at St. John the Apostle Church on Railroad Ave in Plainfield on Tues 2/21 at 10AM. Burial to follow St. John Cemetery. www.doughertybrosfuneralhome.com

I don't know why I looked up this name on the internet. But I did say to myself, "Don't let me find him in the the obituaries."
I was in school at Holy Apostles many years ago. He was one of the sparks that made things lively. Although he didn't get ordained, he was a spiritual man. I'm sorry at his passing. May God bless him and his family and friends.
