Gary Lee Garrett "Fireball passed away August 9th, 2023 at the age of 71. He was born September 5th, 1951 in Fairmont, West Virginia son of the late Bobbie and Betty Garrett.
Survived by his loving wife, Judy Elizabeth Garrett [Galliher] of 54 years; son, Gary Lee Garrett Jr; daughter, Betty Jo (Denny) White; granddaughter, Chelsey Sierra White [Jesse Hill]; grandsons, Travis John Garrett, Austin Lee Dontavio (Valerie) White, Jacob Robert Garrett, Lance Blaine Garrett, and Mason Thomas Garrett; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Rae Lyric White, Paige Reanne Garrett, Asher Skye Hill, and Ariah Ember Lee White.
Prior to his retirement he worked at J&L Steel in Louisville, Ohio for 30 years. He loved motorcycles, Chevy Trucks, his John Deere green tractor, and camping. He loved to sit in his garage and listen to country and old rock music. But most of all, he loved his great grandbabies. They were his Joy.
Known for a few tag lines such as "Hey ol lady", "God bless Your Heart", "You Know I Will", "2 bees in a bucket, mother truck it", and he was always the "mayor" of whatever city he was in at the time.
Fly With the Angels, Fireball. Family will receive visitors at Paquelet Falk Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023 from 3:00-4:00pm and services will begin at 4:00pm.
