Gary Heymach, 57, of Ward, departed this life on June 26, 2023 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Little Rock. Gary was born September 7, 1965 in Newark, New Jersey, to the late Harold Frank and Anna Rose (Weidermeyer) Heymach. He was united in marriage to Dawn (Pyle) Heymach on February 21, 2011 in Lonoke, Arkansas.
Gary was employed as a Supportive Living Companion with Pathfinders, Inc for 21 years. He was the former owner of Bytes n Drives Computer Services of Cabot. His hobbies included gardening, fishing, camping, and building scale models. On Gary's good days, you could find him and his grandson, Noah, outside working in the yard or piddling in their shop. On rainy days, they would be at the table elbow deep in kinetic sand or on the game system hunting down ghouls, or having a jam session on their drums.
He was a proud member of Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as an usher.
Our family's memory of Gary will always be a man who loved God, his family, and his friends.
Gary is survived by his wife, Dawn Heymach of the home; son, Adam Heymach, daughter, Rachel Heymach; and grandson, Noah Hall, all of Cabot; sister, Rose Fleming of Sherwood; Sister in law, Lori Heymach of Aston, Pennsylvania; three nieces, Cynthia (Chris) Putnam and Angela Winter, both of Sherwood; Carolyn (Lebrecht) Ryker, of Bangor, Pennsylvania; three nephews, Charles Enz, Paul Enz, and Jerry (Paula) Enz, all of East Stroudsberg, Pennsylvania; one great niece, Cassidy Putnam of Sherwood; and one great nephew, Caleb Putnam, of Sherwood; two best friends Kirk Thompson of Sherwood and Larry McCann of Cabot; as well as many other relatives and friends. Gary found joy and comfort with his beloved dogs: Rascal, Jaxx, Hannah, and his cat, Skye,
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, and one nephew.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 2:00pm at Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church; 11228 AR Hwy 38, Ward, Arkansas.
