Gary Kolasa Obituary
Gary Michael Kolasa, 53, of Biloxi, Mississippi, passed away on June 20, 2025. No services will be held at this time, but a celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
Born on December 6, 1971, in Hampton, Virginia, Gary was the beloved son of the late Peter Kolasa & Karen Kolasa, and a cherished brother to Douglas Kolasa & his family.
Gary was formerly married to Melissa Dufrene (Kolasa), and together they made a family, separated in 2023. He was a loving father to his seven children—Robert (Hillary), Katelynn (Rick), Ashley (Justin), Morgan (John Morris), Mark, Megan (Kolby), and Thaddeus—and a proud grandfather to five grandchildren: Kyla, Kaden, Noelle, Abram and Logan
Gary lived with passion and heart. He enjoyed fishing, fly fishing, hunting, singing, blasting music, LSU, and collecting NASCAR and football memorabilia, as well as old books. Gary found joy in his Corvette clubs, where he shared his love for cars with fellow enthusiasts.
Gary loved deeply and lived fully. His energy, humor, and love to his family will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.
