Gary Gene Lahr

It is with a sad heart we announce the death of Gary Lahr age 68 of Lake Dallas, Texas, while in Medical City Denton on March 16, 2023.
Gary was born in Indiana on May 13, 1954, to Kenneth Lahr and Patsy Lahr.
Gary attended Columbia City High school in Columbia City, Indiana, and North Lake College in Texas. Gary married Debra Kirkpatrick after meeting her while she was attending Nursing school. They were to celebrate 45 years of marriage in June. Gary loved his career as a Journeyman electrician of 40 years. He was passionate about his work. He loved to fish, camp and to work on his 1969 Cougar and the 1967 GTO. He also loved to take the cars to the racetrack and race. Gary and Debbie love to camp and enjoyed the outdoors. Gary loved to hunt when he lived in Indiana. He lived life to the fullest and loved life. Gary was very generous and loyal to his friends and family.
Gary preceded in death by his father Ken Lahr, Stepmother Joy Lahr, and his sister Debbie Lahr and is survived by, Debbie Lahr wife, daughter Angel Thomas, son Joshua Lahr and daughter Rene Lahr, grandchild Brooklyn Vance, his mother Patsy Norris, brother Terry Lahr and sister-in-law Diana Lahr, and Niece Mallory.
Gary's Celebration of life will be on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 6pm, followed by visitation from 7pm to 8pm.and Visitation will be on Wednesday 03/22/2023 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 740 Edmonds Ln, Lewisville, Texas 75067.
