Gary Morris Obituary
Funeral services for Gary Don Morris, 65, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 27, 2025 at The Heights Church in Cleburne with Pastor Ben Westcott officiating. Burial will follow in Rio Vista Cemetery with Justin Smith, Randy Gillespie, Tim Melcher, Richard Hogan, Roger Morris, Ricky Totsch, Delman Barrett, and Jim Jernigan serving as pallbearers.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12 p.m. -4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 26, at Rosser Funeral Home.
Gary Don Morris passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025 in Fort Worth with his family by his side. He was born on May 7, 1960 in Cleburne to Donald Lee "Pete" and Nature (Archer) Morris. He married Dianna Peugh on May 30, 1980 in Cleburne.
Gary served as the Chief Medical Examiner for Johnson County. He was of the Baptist faith.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents; beloved daughter, Brittany Dawn Morris; and one brother, Larry.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Dianna Morris of Cleburne; son, Tyler Morris and wife Lauren of Floresville; daughter, Lacy Clewis and husband Ryan of Waco; grandchildren, Jarrett Morris, Macie Morris and Easton Clewis; sister, Misty Haddock and husband Brian of Burleson; numerous nieces and nephew; other family members; and many friends.
