David Valdez Obituary
A memorial service celebrating the life of David Valdez, 62, of Alvarado, Texas will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 18, 2025, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gary Burkins officiating.
David passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025 at his home. He was born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma on April 29, 1963, the son of Odilia (Hinojosa) and Eugene Valdez.
David was an auto mechanic, but his passion was racing – drag racing, dirt track racing and he was even a stuntman. He lived his life to the fullest, having never met a stranger. David loved spending time with his family and friends. And he was one handsome SOB!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Odilia Valdez; and brother, Michael Valdez.
David is survived by his daughter, Brandi Torres and husband, Alex, of Cleburne; grandchildren, Averie, Ayden and Axton Torres; sister, Dina Valdez of Fort Worth; nieces, Melissa and Andrea; and other family members and friends.
