Gary Puckett, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was born on May 2, 1948, in Milan, Tennessee to the late Gerald Dwayne Puckett and Sarah Ann Henley.

Gary was passionate about playing instruments and singing. He was a wonderful, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed working on things and could fix anything. By trade, he was an electrician. Gary was full of jokes and would never run out of them.

He is survived by his wife, Gina Puckett of Jackson, Tennessee; three sons, Bryan Scott Wilson (Rhonda) of Cedar Grove, Jeremy Dwayne Puckett (Angela) of Milan, Tennessee and Jeff Wilson (Kim) of Medina; two daughters, Amanda Trull (Bishop James) of Gleason, Tennessee and Tonya Gooch (Gaylon) of Medina; brother, Roy Lynn Puckett (Carol) of Cades, Tennessee; sister, Anne Arrington (David) of Trenton, Tennessee; six grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, August 22, 2025, in the chapel of Medina Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Spray officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour on Friday in the chapel.

Gary was such a caring and loving man with a very big heart me Mickey and my husband rabbit had so much fun with him every party we ever had he come out and picked with Charlie McLemore and Mark Jeter. When my husband build his garage Gary put all the electric in there his heart was big as could be and he was so funny he always made everybody laugh telling his jokes Gary will be missed and loved by so many
