Gary Rothenbusch, age 67, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. He was born on August 25, 1958, in Cincinnati to Jerry and Elsie Rothenbusch (nee Cook).
Gary is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Rothenbusch, and his mother, Elsie Rothenbusch, sister, Sharon (Keith) Gregory. He is lovingly remembered by his partner of 16 years, Linda Brooks, as well as his three daughters: Sarah (Kevin) Roa, Lauren (Kenneth) Adelman, and Shannon (Shane) McCoy. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Mike (Rachell) Brooks Jr., Kevin Brooks, Angel (Kyle) Neumann, and Maria Brooks, along with 15 cherished grandchildren, brothers, Mark (Michelle) Rothenbusch and Greg (Jenny) Rothenbusch; sister, Jenny (Luke) Walker; and beloved pets, Cooper, Barkley, Tommy, and Charlie.
An avid animal-lover, particularly of dogs, Gary was passionate about supporting people through his work and possessed a deep appreciation for nature. He enjoyed staying active and had a love for vehicles and motorcycles, particularly those that were fast. Before transitioning into real estate, he had a successful career as a car mechanic, where he honed his excellent problem-solving skills.
Gary had a playful spirit, often seen enjoying board games and was a fan of spaghetti westerns, bringing joy and laughter to those around him.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
