Tina Marie Shibiya, age 70, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2025. Born on August 25, 1955, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was a cherished daughter of Charles G. and Mary Clift (nee Roberto).
Tina is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Charles G. Clift and Mary Clift. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 45 years, Richard T. Shibiya, and their three children: Richele (Kevin) Wolf, Cassidy (Nina) Shibiya, and Christopher (Kara) Shibiya. Tina also adored her grandchildren, Sophia Shibiya, Camilla Shibiya, Jaxon Wolf, Asher Wolf, and Eleanor Shibiya. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Debbie Whitton, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Professionally, Tina was a Certified Pipefitter with Local 392 for 25 years, then became a Nurse's Aide until retirement, a testament to her hard work and dedication. Her passions extended beyond her career; she had a profound love for her family and her pets, especially her dogs Copper, Cody, and Celeste.
Tina enjoyed listening to music and attending concerts, often sharing this joy with her daughter and son. Metallica and Green Day were among her recent favorites, Rock & Roll was in her soul. She also had a spirit for adventure, which included riding in hot air balloons and rock climbing at Clifty Falls State Park. Gardening brought her peace and happiness, allowing her to nurture life around her.
A visitation will be held at Newcomer Cremations Funerals Receptions, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211, on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The funeral service will commence at 12:00 PM, followed by burial at St. John's Cemetery on 1065 Neeb Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45233.
