Linda Maher, age 83, of Harrison Township, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025. Born on March 21, 1942, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of Harold and Amanda Petty (nee Houser).
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Harold Petty; her mother, Amanda Petty; and two beloved sons, Thomas and Michael Dooley; sisters, Shirley Wilson and Doris Bliss. She is survived by her remaining sons, Timothy Dooley and Patrick Dooley (Michelle), along with four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren as well as a host of family member and friends. Linda's loyal companion, her dog Major, will also miss her greatly.
Linda thrived in her passions. She was an avid gardener and found joy in playing bingo and dancing. Linda was a devoted sports fan, passionately supporting FC Cincinnati, the Bengals, and UC basketball. In her younger years, she actively engaged in her sons' lives, coaching their soccer teams, volunteering at school, and ensuring they made it to their swim practices.
