Gary Michael Simpson, 59 of Erie, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, February 10,2023.
He was born in Erie, PA., on May 9,1963 to Gloria Chapman.
He was a 1981 graduate of Strong Vincent High School. After graduating he enlisted in the US Army.
Gary was employed by Cloud 9 and various other jobs in Erie. He was a member of Mircle Temple.
He was preceded in death by Mother Gloria Chapman and sister Trina Simpson.
Gary leaves to cherish his memory children; Cherise Fowler, Lashae Brown, Alyssa Avery, Latoya
Simpson and Gary Simpson Jr. 12 grandchildren and sister; Darlene Simpson.
A Memorial Service will be announced later by the family.

I'll personally miss Gary, and his stories about Larry's Market's owner, and how far they went back. He was a veteran and that's something we had in common. He wouldn't play pool, which I razzed him about. Gonna miss his smile too.

Years ago Gary would hang at Trina "s and our apartment
and play cards and play with my son. He was like a little brother to me. I am so sorry for your loss.

My sincere condolences to the family. I remember Gary coming to our house to visit with my late husband, Michael. May the God of all comfort bring you the love, comfort and peace you need at this time.
