Gary Susnik

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Susnik, 72, who departed this life on 1/14/26 in Salem, Oregon.

Born on 3/21/53 in Long Beach, California to Frank and Jewel Susnik, Gary was known for his quick wit and easy going personality. He spent 40 plus years as a Machinist in the Willamette Valley, where he was respected for his precision craftsmanship.

Gary's life was defined by his profound devotion to his late wife, Teresa, who preceded him in death in 2012. After her passing, he carried her memory with him in everything he did, often sharing stories of their adventures and the life they built together. Theirs was a love story that served as an inspiration to all who knew them, and his family finds great comfort in the belief that they are now reunited.

He is survived by his children, Chad and Justin; his grandchildren, Trinity, Ava, Paisley and Cannon; his brothers Frank and Glenn and his sister Melinda. He will be remembered for his trips to Arizona to visit his grandkids, doing projects around the house, bowling, and an avid sports fan following the Oregon State Beavers and Green Bay Packers. A celebration of life will take place this summer.
