Gary E. Viehdorfer (also known as G. Dink to his co-workers), 75, of Snow Shoe passed away at Mount Nittany Medical Center on Thursday, October 27, 2022. Gary was born in Philipsburg on December 17, 1946, the son of the late Charles and Elva Holt Viehdorfer. He was married to the former Patricia Danko (Viehdorfer), who preceded him in death on September 24, 2017. He is survived by his daughter, Roseanne (Dane) Maney of Clarence and his 2 grandchildren, Chase Meyers and Lindy Meyers.
Gary worked in the small rod department at Cerro Metal Products before his retirement. He was a 1964 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School and a member of the Moshannon United Methodist Church. He liked classic cars and enjoyed his casino bus trips, gardening, pheasant and grouse hunting with his dogs and listening to 1950's music. He was a life member of the NRA. He was a lifetime member of the Snow Shoe Fire Company and also drove ambulance for many years.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
