Nancy L. Park, 83, of Snow Shoe, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, October 3, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on August 2, 1942, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Randall and Francis (Walker) Wilkins. On October 28, 1967, she married the love of her life, Fredrick D. Park, with whom she shared 45 devoted years before his passing on June 19, 2013.
Nancy attended Bellefonte Area High School. She worked as a dedicated cook for the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity at Penn State University, where she shared her warmth and talent for over 20 years.
A woman of strong spirit and boundless energy, Nancy found joy in the simple pleasures of life-gardening, cooking, baking, and spending time at the family camp. She cherished every moment with her loved ones, especially on "Mema Sundays", a cherished tradition filled with laughter, love, and her unforgettable meals.
Nancy was known for her deep commitment to family, her unwavering work ethic, and her ability to keep everyone in line with a mix of love and determination. She especially looked forward to daily coffee chats with her dear neighbor and friend, Birdie Butterworth.
She is survived by her two children: Frederick D. Park, Jr. (Loretta) of Howard, and Gunilla J. Smith of Snow Shoe; ten grandchildren: Cody A. Park (Taylor), Tyler M. Bryan (Ryan Hanley), Kendra N. Park (Tim Henry), Kelsey L. Miller (Kyle), William A. Smith III (Samantha Crossley), Kristina M. Smith (Alex Exarchos), Lincoln A. Park, Margaret E. Park, Max R. Park, and Jacob N. Park; and eight great-grandchildren: Karther, Dysen, Americus, Poppy, Luna, Jack, Sully, and Zoey.
Nancy is also survived by her sister, Barbara Evock of Elizabethtown; her brother, Steven Wilkins (Michael Orton) of Florida; and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and beloved husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Barry Wilkins, Sr. and Ronald Wilkins.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Milesburg. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM with Pastor Russel Moldovon officiating. Nancy will be laid to rest beside her husband at Centre County Memorial Park in State College.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.
Arrangements are under the care of Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, Inc., in Milesburg. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.daughenbaughfuneralhome.com.
