Gayle Berrett, born in Logan, Utah on July 7th, 1949, returned home to her Father in Heaven August 15th, 2025, at the age of 76. Gayle is the daughter of Oleen and Ormi Talbot.
On May 16th 1970, she married the love of her life, Mark, and they were sealed in the Oakland California temple. They celebrated 55 years together this year. They welcomed four children into their family, Jeff, Kristie, Robert and Stephen.
Gayle graduated from Fruitland High School in Idaho and went on to attend Stevens Henager College. She wore many professional hats during her life, finally retiring from Vulcraft in Brigham City where she worked for 21 years.
Gayle’s life was devoted to service. She served in many capacities in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and Mark served a mission at Bluff Fort in the four corners area where they met people from around the world and made many dear friends. Gayle also loved the temple where she served for six years as an ordinance worker in Brigham City, Utah.
Gayle adored her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with them at home cooking meals, doing nails and playing board games. Her competitive nature also led her to attend many of their organized games all over the state as well. She devoted her time and talents to the Bear River High School booster club for many years, and would occasionally even wear the colors of a different school, but only for her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 25, 2025, at 11 A.M. Viewings will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 5-7 P.M. and prior to the service from 9-10:30 A.M. Gayle's compassionate nature will surely be missed by many.
