Judith Jensen Berrett, 86 - a woman of faith, Mother, sister, wife, friend, passed away
on October 4, 2025. Judy was born on November 22, 1938, to Elwood and Montis
Jensen. She grew up in Bear River City and Married her sweetheart Robb Donald
Berrett on September 26, 1955, and were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on
August 30, 1968. Judy was a great cook and worked in the North Ogden Elementary
school lunch program for many years. She traveled with Robb to his various
construction jobs for Wadman Construction and she helped on his jobs to prepare them
before inspections, she was a great support to Robb and Wadman Construction.
Judy was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held
many church callings. She was a longtime member of the North Ogden 5 th Ward. And
currently a member of the Lodge at North Ogden – LDS Branch. She loved being
around the wonderful ladies at the Lodge and we appreciate their love for her. She was
loved and very well cared for by many at the Lodge. We as a family want to personally
thank all of the amazing caregivers at the Lodge in assisted living and recently in
memory care. We always knew she was in good hands and loved by the amazing aides.
Judy made many friends with her happy countenance, smile, and sense of humor.
While Judy lived many years on Berrett Lane (600 East), she had many great friends in
the neighborhood.
She is survived by Jill (Joe) Bosy (daughter), Clayton (Lori) Berrett (son), Brenda (Dick)
Wedgewood (sister), Scott (Jamie) Jensen (brother), Richard Berrett (brother-in-law),
Elaine Roylance (sister-in-law), Her (9) grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
Judy was preceded in death by Robb Berrett (Husband), Connie Berrett(daughter), her
parents Elwood and Montis Jensen, Sharla (Paul) Josephson (sister), Marion and Perry
Slater (sister-in-law/brother-in-law) Louise and Lee Daniels (sister-in-law/brother-in-law),
Larry Roylance (brother-in-law), Donald and Agnes Berrett (mother-in-law/father-in -
law).
A viewing will be held on Thursday October 9, 2025, from 6-8pm at Myers Mortuary –
845 Washington Blvd. Ogden and Friday 9:30 to 10:30 am at LDS 5th Ward Chapel – 626 E.2600 N, North Ogden UT. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00am at the North Ogden 5th ward chapel.
Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
