Gaylord Chesness Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 5-7 pm at Nordland Lutheran Church. The Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 2:00 pm, also at Nordland Lutheran Church. Burial with military honors will follow the service at Nordland Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Gaylord attended school at the Irving Township one-room schoolhouse and later graduated from New London High School.
He worked for Walter Peterson in custom combining and also for Bud Spletter in phone installation.
Gaylord served in the US Army.
In order to honor Gaylord's memory, donations can be made to the New London Food Shelf.

He was very kind and gentleman , he spoke very softly , very caring to our family . He reminds me of my dad in many ways . our family is Barb Vacek . God bless Gaylord.
