Tubby also enjoyed boating, skiing, planting, gardening, barbecuing on the grill, fish aquariums, and most importantly, being outdoors around a fire talking with his family and friends but nothing compared to his pride in becoming a Father and even more so a Grandfather to his Grandchildren.

Tubby truly possessed knowledge about virtually everything that crossed his path. He was a beloved Father, Grandfather, Better known as “Poppy”, Uncle, Brother, and Friend. He’s preceeded in passing with his parents, Jerry and Linda Dotson, Brothers, Dale Richards and Billy Lumley Dotson.

Although, the most fortunate that remain to cherish his memory are his children: Kendell Dotson, Krystal Williams and Husband Brent, Kandace Dillon and Husband Todd; Grandchildren: Karter and Kingston Williams of Krystal and Brent Williams. Kaydence Dillon of Kandace and Todd Dillon, Brother Johnny Dotson, Sister Trenna Hill and Husband James, Niece LaRissa Duarte and Husband Ray, Nephew JD Dotson and Wife Lacey, as well as numerous extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Although, his legacy will forever live on to those that were fortunate enough to know him but more so, love him.

Everlasting Fighter

Dedicated to my Dad, Tubby Dotson

In life's tough moments, he kept on fighting,

A strong spirit, always igniting.

A loyal soul, through thick and thin,

His hard work, spoke a tale within.

He left a legacy of strength and endless love,

A fighter’s spirit now guiding us from above.

In the warmth of memories, where he will reside,

And forever be by our side.

In heaven's embrace, his battles now cease,

No more suffering, only eternal peace.
