Genoveva "Eva" Strobl (nee Konradt) 94, of Blackwood NJ formerly of Warm Mineral Springs FL, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband John, and her children Hans, Helen Livernois, and Monica Albano, and her grandson Earl Livernois. She is survived by her loving son-in-law Peter Albano, and her grandchildren, Tammy (Bill) Peters, Dawn (Donald) Sheridan, Hans Strobl, Jennifer (Jonathan) Miller, Alana Albano, and Peter (Jenna) Albano. Adoring great grandmother to 11 children and many great grandpups. Also survived by her siblings Loni Walter, Erwin Konradt and Magdalena Welsch as well as many friends and relatives.
She was known as Eva to many, but she was truly everyone's Oma. Eva was a knitting/crocheting/sewing expert who always made sure there was a knit hat for every tiny head that came into this world, and she was always on duty, even to reattach the groom's suit button minutes before a wedding ceremony. Her ability to create a million different delicious foods with just flour, eggs and water was unmatched. Despite her best efforts, no student could ever truly recreate her specialties. She lived an incredible life, not without many hardships but most importantly filled with an overwhelming amount of love. Our solace is knowing that she is reunited with her husband and children and that she will live on forever in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday March 1, 2025 from from 10:30AM to 11:00AM at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Agnes RC Church, 701 Little Gloucester Rd., Blackwood, NJ 08012. Memorial Mass 11:00AM. Interment will take place privately.
In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask donations to be made in Eva's memory to Samaritan Hospice online at www.samaritannj.org or by mail to Samaritan Gift Processing Center at PO Box 71425, Philadelphia PA 19176.
Arrangements under the direction of the COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, BERLIN NJ.
