Geoffrey H. Danzig, 72, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2023 at Highland
Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Middletown, New York.
Geoffrey was born in Flushing, Queens on February 21, 1951 to Pearl Podorefsky
Danzig and Irving Danzig. He graduated from Rutgers University in New Jersey with a
Masters Degree in Business Administration majoring in Accounting. Geoffrey worked for
Carnival Cruise Line and also was a professor at Miami Dade College in Miami, Florida.
Geoffrey was a great man, father and grandfather who found joy in many things in life.
He enjoyed traveling particularly on cruises. His greatest joy in life was being a
grandfather.
He leaves behind his son and daughter-in-law, Seth and Laura Danzig, and his
grandchildren, Emily Danzig (11), Scott Danzig (22) and William Stallings (20) of
Middletown, New York; his two nephews, Jarryd and Brandon Ageloff and their families
from Florida.
Geoffrey H. Danzig is predeceased by his sister, Dale Ageloff of Florida.
A Visitation for Geoffrey will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 4 p.m.- 6 p.m.
at Applebee McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Ave, Middletown, NY 10940.
Graveside services for Geoffrey will be Friday, November 3, 2023. Please arrive at the
funeral home at 9:30 a.m. The procession to Hillside Cemetery at 50 Mulberry Street in
Middletown, NY will leave at 9:45 a.m.
